Here’s your cage: Volunteering at a Guatemalan Endangered Animal Shelter

Here’s the skinny:  at about 6 minutes in, watch the foreign volunteers try to get the baby alligator out of the pond which needs cleaning.

Endangered Animal Conservation” is part of a series of short films produced by students from the UK’s University of East Anglia (most known for its climate change research).  Well shot and beautifully edited with DSLR cameras in Guatemala, their work is a tribute to how volunteering and active learning can work to the benefit of wildlife.
